Can an AI Agent Really Code From a Phone?
Published August 30, 2026 · By NimoteCode Team
This is a real AI Agent demo inside NimoteCode. Starting from an almost empty SSH workspace, the agent plans the task, creates and edits code, runs commands, verifies the result, and finally commits the changes.
Everything happens inside a single mobile workspace—not by pasting snippets into a separate chat.
What the agent handled
- Long-running AI coding tasks that span several steps
- SSH remote development against a real host
- Terminal, Git and the code editor in the same context
- Automatic verification and code commits
The point of running an agent inside a workspace rather than a standalone chat window is that it can stay connected to project files, terminal output and Git state—and it hands a reviewable result back to you instead of an unreviewed suggestion.
Try it from your phone
